Vocabulary Grade 6 Chapter One

Culture The way of life of people who share similar beliefs and customs

Ethnic Groups People who have a common origin who share a common language and an history of their past.

Sociologists People who study human behavior as related to groups of people.

Customs Practices handed down from the past

Minority Group Group of people whose culture, race or ethnic origin is different from the people of a region.
