Reading is Fundamental (RIF) ECE-8 th grades Federally/School funded initiative for students to receive 3 free books per year Students get COMPLETE control over book choice Books offered in English/Spanish for all grade levels Events in December, February, & March (Schedule coming soon) Activity is part of distribution, there will be an activity to go along with each distribution

Scholastic Book Fair HUGE fundraiser for Fairmont Library Last year sold just under $3,000 (raised $2,000 to buy Scholastic products) THIS YEAR FALL GOAL: $5000 (money to purchase materials for the library, hopefully including new book browser; audio books) Book Trust money—students will use vouchers this year
