Four Conditions of the Heart

Great Crowds Continue to Follow Jesus  A very large crowd has gathered to see and hear from Jesus again.  The crowd is so large that Jesus has to teach from a boat out in the sea.  Jesus is teaching in parables.  This is not an invitation to listen, they are commands to both listen and to hear.

Four Types of Soil 1st Type of Soil: Hardened Soil The Outcome of the Seed in Hardened Soil: Birds see the seed on the path, fly down and devour the seed.

Four Types of Soil 2nd Type of Soil: Rock filled Soil The Outcome of the Seed in Rock Filled Soil: The sun scorched the grain seedling and it withered away.

Four Types of Soil 3rd Type of Soil: Thorn infested soil. The Outcome of the Seed in Thorn Infested Soil: The seed is germinated, and grows but thorns also grow and choke out the seed before it can produce fruit.

Four Types of Soil 4th Type of Soil: Prepared, fertile Soil. The Outcome of Seed in Prepared, Fertile Soil: The seed germinated, took deep roots into the soil and produced abundant fruit – thirty, sixty, hundred fold.

The Secret of the Kingdom of God The mystery of a divine truth remaining hidden until it is revealed by God - and without divine revelation it would not be known.

The Parable of the Seed & Soil  V14 - The sower sows the Word.  The Seed is the Word of God  The Soil is the Condition of your Heart.

Four Conditions of the Heart 1.The Indifferent Hardened Heart – the hardened soil. 2.The Shallow Heart – the rocky soil. 3.The Divided Heart – the thorny soil. 4.The Yielding - Persevering Heart – the good, fertile soil.

Defining Marks of the Heart Yielding Persevering Heart 1)It Perseveres 2)It Bears Abundant Fruit Hardened, Shallow, Divided Heart 1)Falls away, withers, does not Persevere. 2)No Eternal Fruit

Listen and Hear! What Is the Condition of YOUR Heart?
