1 John 5:20 Jesus Christ is the True God.

The positive believer residing inside GPS learns and retains B.D., especially Christology, for application in the Christian Way of Life.

Principle: The believer gains momentum in the spiritual life by means of a Pastor- Teacher communicating doctrine to him through the GAP.

HO HUIOS TOU THEOU, “the Son of God” Jesus Christ. 1 John 3:8; 4:15; 5:5, 20; John 1:34, 49; 11:4, 27; 20:31; and Rev 2:18

John 1:34, “I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”

John 1:49, “Nathanael answered Him, ‘Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel’.”

John 20:31, “But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.”

HEKEI, “is come”. The simple historical arrival of Christ at His First Advent.

Principle: Everything that is involved in the Christian way of life is based on the First Advent, not the Second.

DEDOKEN Perfect, Active, Indicative, 3 rd Person, Singular. “He has given”.

Jesus Christ came to reveal the Father’s Plan for salvation. He has revealed the Father, He has given us His Word and He has sent His Spirit to teach us.

DIANOIAN - “the mind, disposition, thought, intention, or purpose.” Thayer - “the mind as a faculty of understanding.” = “insight”

Reality as opposed to fiction or imagination.

Eph 4:18, “Being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart.”

Rom 1:25, “For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”

GINOSKO – Pres., Act., Subj., “to come to know, recognize or perceive.” Familiarity acquired through experience or association with the person of Jesus Christ.

The Subjunctive is for a purpose - to know God, but it’s not an absolute reality because of your volition.

The believer is intended to live in GPS, learn doctrine, advance to maturity, manufacture virtue, and have peace and great happiness in life.

ALETHINOS, “true, being real, genuine, or authentic.” It’s the Christian perspective of God in contrast to other deities who are not real.

We need objective reality to know “the True One”, versus being part of the crowd that deals in subjective reality as members of Satan’s Cosmic System. John 1:1-18

John 14:6, “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me’.”

Communion

John 1:29, “The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
