Mrs. Marrufo’s Classroom News August 30, 2013 The school year has started off great! I hope your child is as excited about this school year as I am! Visit to find my webpage to learn more about your student’s classroom schedule, my expectations for the school year, and more! Science- Students will discover what scientist do and conduct investigations following safety procedures. Reading- Students will compare different versions of fables and identify story elements within texts. Writing- Students will use personal experiences to develop stories. Math- Students will develop an appropriate problem-solving plan or strategy in order to solve a problem. No school on Monday, September, 2 nd Tutoring begins Tuesday, September 2 nd from 7:30-8:10am PTO meeting on Thursday, September 5 th from 7-8pm in the library Grandparents’ Day Celebration on Monday, September 8 th
