Youth Transition Program (YTP) Oregon’s YTP began in 1990 in 8 school districts with a 4 year OSERS grant + state funds Oregon’s YTP began in 1990 in 8 school districts with a 4 year OSERS grant + state funds YTP is a Partnership including: YTP is a Partnership including: Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services Oregon Department of Education University of Oregon Local Public Schools Over the last 17 years, YTP has provided direct services and OVRS access to over 8000 students with disabilities Over the last 17 years, YTP has provided direct services and OVRS access to over 8000 students with disabilities

Youth Transition Program Has been implemented in over 80% of Oregon high schools Has been implemented in over 80% of Oregon high schools Sites receive materials, training, evaluation, and technical assistance Sites receive materials, training, evaluation, and technical assistance

The Technical Assistance Team at the University of Oregon Mission of the TA team: to work in collaboration with OVRS administration to provide training, technical assistance, and evaluation services to YTP sites statewide in Oregon. The TA team seeks to ensure that principles of best practice are infused in local activities.
