Horizon 2020 will support all forms of innovation. innovation that results from research and development (R&D) activities. innovation that results from other activities, – such as finding new uses or combinations of existing technologies or – developing new business models or new ways of interacting with users. Innovations can be non-commercial applications : – better public services or – addressing social needs ('social innovation'). Horizon 2020 introduces a new SME instrument specifically designed to support SMEs to innovate.
Business innovation grants for: 1.feasibility assessment (optional phase I): EUR 50,000 (lump sum) per project (70% of total cost of the project);feasibility assessment 2. innovation development & demonstration (possible phase II): an amount in the indicative range of EUR 500,000 and 2,5 million (70% of total cost of the project as a general rule);innovation development & demonstration 3.Free-of-charge business coaching (optional in phases I and II), in order to support and enhance the firm’s innovation capacity and help align the project to strategic business needs;Free-of-charge business coaching 4.access to risk finance (mostly in optional phase III), to facilitate the commercial exploitation of the innovationaccess to risk finance What management do you need to succeed?
