Objectives: 1) Define: region, continent, latitude, longitude, prime meridian, equator, and hemisphere. 2) Locate and label 7 continents and 5 oceans on a world map. 3) I will recreate a globe with labeled significant lines of latitude and longitude. 4) On an exit ticket, students will explain in 1-2 sentences the difference between absolute and relative location.

Bellringer 1)List all major continents and oceans that you can recall (Hint: 7 continents, 5 oceans) 2) On world map : place the 7 continents and 5 oceans (work with your group) 3) Do it all on your own!
