International Labor Laws By Victoria, Jessica, Max, Alan, Brandon and Darren

Our Focus and Goal Our Group has worked on international labor laws and focused on child labor. There are a lot of things we can do to stop child labor. One thing that our group has done thought is create a website to address this issue: http://sites.google.com/site/stopchildlaborproject/ Our goal for this project is to make people more aware on this issue. By making people aware, we can put a stop to it.

International Labor Laws The definition Labor Laws: Group of laws that address rights and restrictions for people working across the world to help the economy and needs of people in each country across the world. Example of international labor child labor: Who: children What: forced to work by parents or adults When: today everywhere Where: all over the world Why: families don’t have enough money and even with the money the children make throughout the year, there is still not enough money for food and to support their families. Solutions for Child Labor Child labor is a hard problem to deal with this century. All the solutions that the countries tried, have failed but here are some solutions that they should try: The country shall make a law that should make a maximum age that the company can use for children They should make a time limit, when the children have to work. The children also should get fed. Also they should work in good conditions. The country shall give harsh punishments, if the company does not follow these rules. One thing they can do is outlaw child labor altogether.

Child Labor in the Future This is a big issue, our solution is to make child labor not allowed anymore. Names 5 years 10 years 20 years Local In 5 years, the message is s across to people. Making it so fewer children are working. In 10 years, people are trying to stop it. More children are on the street no job or education. There are barely any children who are still working and the working conditions have gotten better. National Nobody has done anything but in small communities. In these communities, the children aren’t working, but the adults are. Less adult are working but the country is very poor and doing worse. Some countries are stopping child labor altogether and some countries who haven’t before haven’t started to yet. Global Nothing happens but in tiny regions a little bit. Some countries are just starting and some are stopping. Not a lot have stopped child labor but some have in big areas. A couple new companies but they aren’t huge ones. In those companies good working conditions.

Child Labor in 20 Years Worse Better There are a bunch of major operations who do child labor. Those companies wont just stop after 20 years. Some companies don’t do child labor yet. They might start. Economy gets worse more people have to work in poor countries Some Companies haven't started to do child labor, and wont start. Some countries wont allow child labor at all. More people get the message that its wrong, so companies stop.
