Causes of the F & I War  French colony (in N. America) had land where there are lots of beaver (fur!!!!!!!)  Different Indian Tribes trade w/French & British for fur (depending where they lived)  British move into Backcountry farm land & fur trade (French were already here)  French & British colonists fight for their land/trade  Indians choose sides

French & Indian War breaks out in North America The French & Indian War is part of the Seven Years War (British vs. French, )

Effects of the F & I War BBritain defeats France BBritain gains all land E. of Mississippi R. SSpain gets French territory that was W. of Mississippi River NNative Americans revolt against the British colonists moving into Backcountry—behind Appalachian Mts.
