 It helps you understand what life has evolved into over the years.  Provides a foundation for modern biology  Explains the diversity of all the life on earth

 Sciencetists observe nature and ask questions  Gather results and new findings  Sciencetists make theory about the past  These theories allow them to make predictions about unobserved things.

 Biological traits pass from parent to offspring which is also knows as the basis of Evolution.  Traits change between generations  Sciencetists don’t question the basic facts of evolution as a process anymore

Fossils help prove that evolution exists in the world. Different rock layers support earth’s history. Species change and evolve over time, which is identified as natural selection.

 Traits are passed from parent to offspring through DNA  Because of DNA, we found other branches of science.  Molecular biology and genetics revealed how evolution works.

 Many species all have common traits, structures, and behaviors.  All have the same basic arrangement  We all have common ancestors  Makes the world diverse

 People argue that the diversity of life did not evolve through the natural processes  Creationism is not science  Argue that the theory of evolution primarily occurs because of the gaps in the fossil records.

 Different aspects of human expierence.  Scientists think that their writing about biology had increased their knowledge about religion.

 DNA microarray- the researchers compared the genetic material of the unknown virus to the what is known of viruses.  Began with a blood test to see which people carried the disease.  Understanding the evolutionary origins are important as the human help rises.

 Using evolutin, sciencetists can now predict the future fossils that will be discovered.  For example: › Sciencetists have found ancient fish fossils that lived in shallow waters in earlier times and found fossils of four limbed land dwellers that appeared in later times.

 I accept the theory of evolution. I believe that evolution once was basic and as life went on, it got much more complex. We were all the same creature at one point, we are just all different mutations. Evolution helps us discover how much life as changed since the beginning of time and how species and things evolved. Without the theory of evolution, we would not know how the living things on earth were first started and created.
