Attendance Required  Reflects on the school  More than 7 absences negates child’s test scores from school data  Doctor appointments and vacations

Agendas and Homework

Reading Requirements  Daily reading log – signed by parent  5 Accelerated Reader books each 9 weeks  Must be 4 th grade or above reading level  Must pass AR test with a 70% or more  Only one teacher-read book allowed per 9 week period  With special consideration, students may submit a letter following format on Literacy Link on my blog.  Book Report each 9 weeks

Enrichment – 6 day rotation Gillett Schedule Day 1 – Art Day 2 – PE Day 3 – Math Lab Day 4 – STEM Lab Day 5 – PE Day 6 - Music

Snack Time  Students are encouraged to bring a healthy snack and water for snack time.  No candy, cookies, cupcakes, or juices are allowed.

Field trips  Rock Eagle 4H Center, Eatonton, Georgia  University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences  Wednesday – Thursday, April , 2016
