La geografía ¿Dónde se habla español?

Norteamérica 1. México CAPITAL : Mexico City – In the southern state of Oaxaca, people like to munch on fried grasshoppers, while others eat, fried green caterpillars are a popular snack. And tacos everywhere come with all kinds of fillings, including cow brains and tongue.

América Central 2. PANAMÁ CAPITAL: Panama City – The country is the only place in the world, where you can see the sun rise in the Pacific and set in the Atlantic.

América Central 3. NICARAGUA CAPITAL: Managua – There are no numeric addresses in Nicaragua. Instead known landmarks are used. For example: Al Bancentro, tres cuadras norte, media cuadra este (from the central bank, 3 blocks north, half a block east), our address is simply, Apartmento 29 correos de Rivas (P.O. box 29, Rivas post office).

América Central 4. HONDURAS CAPITAL: Tegucigalpa – Most Hondurans are mestizos.

América Central 5. GUATEMALA CAPITAL: Guatemala City – Guatemala, meaning land of trees, is a heavily forested and mountainous nation—and the most populous in Central America.

América Central 6. COSTA RICA CAPITAL: San José – With its mild climate, constant mist and fertile soil, Costa Rica is an ideal place for growing coffee. The plant is a bush with deep green leaves and coffee seeds, which are often called cherries.

NORTEAMÉRICA 7. EL SALVADOR CAPITAL: SAN SALVADOR – It is the most densely populated country in all of North, Central, and South America, with over 850 people per square mile.

EL CARIBE 8. CUBA CAPITAL : HAVANA – Very few people in Cuba are granted permission to use the Internet. Those that do have their activity monitored closely. People who connect to the Internet without permission could receive up to 5 years in jail.

Sudamérica 15. COLOMBIA CAPITAL : BOGOTÁ – The residents of Colombia have suffered due to various earthquakes and volcanoes. Colombia has 15 major volcanoes and certain instabilities in the area have caused many devastating earthquakes.

Sudamérica 17. PARAGUAY CAPITAL : Asunción – Agriculture and cattle ranching are the major economic activities of Paraguay.

Sudamérica 18. URUGUAY CAPITAL : Montevideo – A staggering 88% of the Uruguayans are European descendants, which is very high as compared to quite a number of other Latin-American countries. This is due to the fact that Uruguay received a number of European immigrants from Spain and Italy during the 19th and 20th century.

Sudamérica 19. ECUADOR CAPITAL : Quito – The term Ecuador means equator in Spanish. In fact, the country has been named after equator, which passes through it.
