Parent Involvement ● Check grades- on website under quick links ● Keep organized (regularly clean out back pack and binders) ● Turn in assignments and homework on time ● Attend tutorials when needed ● Maintain a well-rounded schedule which includes extra-curricular activities Success in middle school involves much more that just good grades!

Dell Tablets ● Every student will be issued a Dell tablet. ● The insurance is $50 and is highly recommended.

Home Access Center (HAC) ●Using “A+” icon on Pike Website to access ●Username and Password sent via NISD or can use “forgot username/password” on site to gain access ●Can set up to notify via or text ●Can set to notify when grade or average falls below a certain % ●Students can access too

Moodle: Online Learning Management System ●Teachers will have most of their resources, upcoming dates, and contact information on their Moodle Course ●Parents can view the site because of open “Guest Access” however students must be enrolled to be able to participate in activities and submit assignments (enrollment will be shared with students once school starts) ●Homework, reviews, class activities, forums, journals, etc. will be found on the Teachers Moodle ●Miss class… check Moodle!
