 In Birmingham Alabama there was an campaign an organized by the (SCLC) Southern Christian Leadership Conferences.They were to bring attention to the unequal rights of the Black Americans  The campaign ran during the spring of 1963 it was an widely publicized confrontations between black youth and white civic authorities.  In the bombing four women were killed

 In the early 1960s, Birmingham was one of the most racially divided cities in the United States, as black citizens faced legal and economic disparities.  Protests in Birmingham began with a boycott to pressure business leaders to provide employment opportunities to people of all races, and end segregation in public facilities, restaurants, and stores.

 Organizers, led by Martin Luther King, Jr. used none violence direct action tactics.  King decided that he would use other thing to out smart there behavior.

 They began what they claimed to be Project C, a series of sit-ins and marches intended to provoke mass arrests. After the campaign ran low on adult volunteers.  They push towards the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibited racial discrimination in hiring practices and public services in the United States they enforced the movement.

 Birmingham Alabama went through ups an downs but they made an impact ob civil rights for colored people.
