Number The Stars Projects By: AMBER LOOMIS

About The Author Number The Stars was written by Lois Lowry. She won the Newbery Medal for the book. She believes her purpose as a writer has been to relieve what she says is “the sense of isolation that sometimes makes growing up lonely. Walking through a scary place is easier if you know that someone else has walked there once, and survived.”

About The Book Number The Stars is about how the Germans were trying to take over all these countries during the 1930s and the 1940s. It describes how Denmark helps out the Jews and protects them. This story has a bunch of ups and downs. They always find a way to get out of the downs. Some people have made groups called “Resistance” to help sneak the Jews from the Nazi.

My Symbol

Why that is my symbol??!! :D The reason why I choose that symbol was because, I love Softball and I wish the world would come together and have world peace!! I am sick and tired of all these wars and the economy is just as bad, we need to put a stop to this and have world peace!!!

Game Time!!!!!
