 American Airlines Flight 11 hijacked and crashed into northern façade of the North Tower 8:46 A.M.  Between 93 rd and 99 th floors

 “Don’t do anything foolish. You are not going to get hurt. We have more planes. We have other planes.”

 United Airlines, 757, Flight 175  Boston’s Logan Airport at 08:14 to L.A. / 65 People  Hijackers took control of the plane and, at 09:03, rammed it into the South Tower at about the 80th floor.

 United Airlines Flight minutes later went into South Tower, between 77 th and 85 th floors  Damage caused to the North Tower by Flight 11 would not allow means of escape, trapped 1,344 people

 After Flight 175- a staircase was still available to the people to pass through, but not many were able to actually get through  South Tower- less than 700 either trapped or killed at that point

 9:59 A.M.- South Tower collapsed after burning for 56 minutes  10:28 A.M.- North Tower collapsed- had burned for 102 minutes  5:20 P.M.- 7 World Trade Center collapsed

 3 World Trade Center- destroyed during collapse of towers  Three remaining buildings needed to be demolished

 Cantor Fitzgerald L.P. (an investment bank)- 101 st th floors of 1 WTC- lost 658 employees  Marsh & McLennan Companies- floors (where Flight 11 impacted) lost 295 employees

 New York City Firefighters- 343 deaths  Port Authority employees- 84 deaths  Port Authority Police Department- 37 deaths

 New York City Police Department officers- 23 deaths  Only 20 people survived the collapse

 American Airlines, 757, Flight 77  Washington’s Dulles Airport to Los Angeles  64 People

 United Airlines, 757, Flight 93  Newark, NJ to San Francisco / 44 People  Box they said was a bomb and knife like weapons

 Shanksville, Pennsylvania About 20 minutes flying time from Washington D.C.
