Water Walk… Family Water Uses How much water on average does your family use in one day? One person uses about 54 gallons of water a day for indoor uses only. A family that owns a home in Victor Valley uses about gallons of water a day for outdoor uses. Less than 3% of the water delivered to homes in Victor Valley is used for drinking purposes. All High Desert residents rely upon groundwater as their water source. The MWA is currently providing rebates to water users that want to install low flow toilets, frontloading washing machines and for replacing grass with xeriscape.
