Biome Poetry Each line of the poem must begin with the letters in the biome name. Include location, temperature, precipitation, flora, fauna and any other facts you think are interesting.

Project- DUE DATE: FRIDAY, APRIL 5 Acrostic Poems/ Biomes You will create 9 Acrostic Poems using the first letters of each of the following words. 1. Title Page or Title Slide(not a poem) 2. BIOME 3. TUNDRA 4. TAIGA 5. TEMPERATE (FOREST) 6. RAINFOREST 7. DESERT 8. SAVANNA 9. PRAIRIE 10. CHAPARRAL

Each line of the poem must begin with the letters of the biome. You must include temperature, precipitation, flora, fauna, location PLUS any other interesting fact. Write a rough draft for each. CHECK YOUR SPELLING!!

You have 2 options for completing the project: Complete the project as a PowerPoint with at least 2 pictures on each slide, for a total of 10 slides, including TITLE SLIDE. Save to the P Drive in a file with “Your Name Biome Poems”. Complete the project on paper. It will also be 10 pages. It should be colorful and imaginative and NEAT. It must also include 2 pictures per page. You can draw the pictures and color them, print them from the Internet or cut them out of books or magazines. If you do them on paper you should assemble them in a booklet, a 3-prong folder with a cover page, and you must decorate the cover of the folder. The choice is yours. Please be creative. NEATNESS COUNTS!!!!
