Core Data Elements Counseling: Instructional and SSSP data CTE: Instructional and Labor Market Information Instruction: Student Success data (course completion and retention rates) Library Services: Instructional and Library Services data Non-instruction (support services, special programs, administrative units) All data disaggregated by age, gender, ethnicity and special populations

Validation Process College determines the validation body (validation committee or institutional effectiveness committee, etc.) Validation committee ensures completeness of the narrative report, resource needs template, and the goal setting template Validation form (Appendix C.)

Narrative Report Assessment (of outcomes): new, more comprehensive questions Instruction: new questions Student Success: new questions focusing upon course completion and retention rates, and distance education Community, Institutional, and Professional Engagement and Partnerships (new section) Discipline, Department or Program Goals and Activities (new section)

Goal Setting and Planning Goals and Activities for the next three years Assessment of the goals will occur in subsequent years via the Annual Program Updates and the next Program Review (full cycle of 3 years) Alignment of goals with college and District goals (Appendix B, Alignment of Goals Template)
