BERNADETTE SOUBIROUS In 1858 she had series visions of Mary She Joined the Sisters of Charity in 1866

LOCATION This event occurred in Lourdes, France.

HOW IT HAPPENED Bernadette and her sister, Toinette, and a neighbour friend, Jeanne Abadie, went to the river Gave to gather wood. She was scared she was going to have an asthma attack When Bernadette was alone she heard a gust of wind

HOW IT HAPPENED They had walked to Massabielle Then she heard the same sound again and she looked at the grotto and saw a beautiful lady in a white dress The lady signaled that she should come closer

HOW IT HAPPENED Then Bernadette bends down on her knees, takes out her rosary, and made the sign of the cross But she cannot do this until Lady has made the sign of the cross This vision last for about 15 minutes
