Easily Change Slide Design Just click on “Masters” on the above toolbar to select what type of slide you want To add photos, just click and drag photo from desktop You can add text boxes to your photos by clicking on Text Box

Adding Slides To add a new slide, you just simply click on the “new” button on the toolbar.

Adding Shapes Click on the green shapes box to add shapes to your presentation Change the color of your shapes by clicking on “fill” SquareCircle Right Triangle

Adding Sound To add sound, you can click on media Click and drag the sound file from i- tunes to your slide

Image Capture To capture an image for your desktop, simply press Shift, Apple (command) 4 at the same time. Click and drag to capture the image Once you release the mouse, it will instantly capture the image and put it on your desktop. From there, click and drag to anywhere on the slide

Special Effects Moving objects 1.On a slide, select the object you want to make move on or off the slide. Shift- click to select multiple objects. 2.Click Inspector in the toolbar, and then click the Build Inspector button. 3.To make the object move onto the slide, click Build In. To make the object leave the slide, click Build Out.

You can add Tables You can add Jeopardy-Like questions for your lessons! You can change the fill color of the cells! You can do sight words! You can teach vocabulary words! You can adjust the number of columns! You can change the color of the borders! All can be accomplished with the table menu that pops up when you add the tables!

Slide Transitions You can add effects to you slides as well Click on Inspector and then on slide inspector Then select the effect

Adding Charts Click on “Charts” to add a bar or a pie chart to your slide Take surveys in your class and create a chart!

You can add links to a web page by blocking your text Click on Insert, then text hyperlink, then webpage Click here for a to link to a math page!math page Add Links to Web Pages

Great for Jeopardy! Use the slides for review of concepts Use the slides for review of vocabulary words - Jeopardy style Have students create slides for their research

Watching Your Creation When finished with your slides, click on “play” to view your slide show Click on escape key to return to editing mode if you want to make any changes
