We are going to look at several cartoons that were drawn during the Reconstruction era We will figure out as a class: ▫What you see ▫What do you think each aspect of the picture means and why ▫What is the cartoonist point of view

What do you see in the cartoon? Is there symbolism? What is represented? What is the point of view of the cartoon?
