Digital citizenship can be defined as the norms of behavior with regard to technology use. computer cell phone tablet gaming console …? WHAT IS DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP?

Children are growing up on the Internet. Children need to learn what it means to be good people online and off. Key word here is “citizenship”. WHY IS DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP IMPORTANT?

39 % of children admit to using online sites or games that their parents would not approve of.* 67 % of children empty their cache so their parents cannot check their online history.* 15% of children admit to doing something online intended to hurt someone (cyberbullying).* * wakeup-call SOME THINGS TO THINK ABOUT…
