Birds in Spring Some birds have been here all winter. In spring they begin to choose a spot to build a nest. Some birds return from warmer places. They come back to nest when there is a food supply. How have changes in land use affected where birds nest? What kind of habitat is necessary for each kind of bird? What happens if a special kind of habitat is destroyed?
