A cheetah is a mammal. It’s name comes from a Hindi word meaning ‘’spotted one’’. They can live up to years old.
Their diet is gazelles, rabbits, birds. They live in Central, Eastern and Southwestern Africa.
A cheetah has yellow or tan fur with black spots. Their spots help them hide from their predators. They are camouflaged.
The spots cover there whole body but not the throat and the tummy which are white. The cheetah is the fastest mammal. They cannot roar or climb trees.
Their land is shrinking and there is hardly any food left. They are becoming endangered.
I liked learning about cheetahs. My favorite facts was that cheetahs can run mph in three seconds.
