Three Decision making Styles: 1. Inactive Can’t decide. Procrastinate –Little control over the direction their life takes. –Lack of self confidence. Summer,I should go out for the tennis team. But I don’t know maybe I will wait till school starts…. Too late the season has already started!

2 nd decision making style 2. Reactive – Lets others decide for them. Feels need to be a part of the group. If Everybody else jumped off the cliff,,,,,,you will follow,, –the “cliff” can be any unhealthy choice. alcohol, drugs, tobacco, junk food, - Little control over the direction their life takes –What classes are you going to take? Maybe I will take it too.

3 rd decision making style 3. Proactive – Thinks for themselves –Strong values and beliefs –Not easily influenced –Values: integrity, honesty, dignity
