Habitat  Grizzly bears are found in western Canada, Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington.

Appearance  The grizzly bear is large and has a concave face.  It has long claws that are bout the length of a human finger.  They are usually dark brown.

Food  Grizzly bear can smell from miles away.  They are omnivorous.  Grizzly bear eats moose, caribou and elk.

Young  The grizzly bear has 1 to 3 cubs.  They are born in January or February.

Threats  People are the biggest threat to grizzly bears.

Interesting facts  Grizzly bears are large mammals.  They are brown.  They live in 48 state.
