Characters  Shauna McAllister- Shauna is the main character. Shauna was in a car crash. When she wakes up, she has lost her memory and goes on a journey to find it.  Wayne- When Shauna wakes up Wayne is in the hospital room, and it turns out that he is her “boy friend”, but Wayne acts cautiously and mysteriously.  Landon McAllister- Landon is Shauna’s father and is a millionaire, owner of McAllister MediVista, a Senator, and is running for President. Unfortunately he has not been there for Shauna ever since his first wife died.  Patrice McAllister- Patrice is Shauna’s step mom and she utterly despises Shauna. In fact, she abused Shauna in her childhood.  Trent Wilde- Trent is Shauna’s “uncle” and the CEO of McAllister MediVista. He is also the McAllister’s closest friend.  Miguel- Miguel is a mysterious reporter who disappeared after uncovering a very big story. I feel that the main character, Shauna, is like me in the fact that once she starts something she doesn’t quit. Also, I find it admirable that she is stubborn and strong willed when people question her sanity and what she is doing.  Shauna McAllister- Shauna is the main character. Shauna was in a car crash. Critics corner My opinions of this book are mostly positive. I thought it had a captivating story line, believable characters, and very descriptive text. Although I have one negative thing to say--you may need a good memory because the plot and character details stack on top of itself. I chose this book because I was looking for something that gave good morals and gave me a positive reading experience. I think the main message was of perseverance. I learned that even though some tasks seem hard, it is better to finish than give up. I highly recommend this book to anyone and every one because it is inspirational, touching, and I think has something for everyone.
