Status Report Currently, users to our site can: Search on our site, either by browsing or by using the search box. See evaluations and listings, with clear links between the two. Register with our site. Enter new evaluations for a tutor.

Current issues to resolve TutorMatch is not yet functional. All posts are currently attributed to the admin user (wordpress), rather than the actual poster. There are currently some errors matching up the appropriate reviews from Craig ’ s List. Forgotten password feature does not work.

Search and Browsing Listings Default search is against the listings. Listings are parsed from the HTML, based on category specific queries. We compare the listing urls to the tutors in our DB. If there is a match, we show any reviews as well as the listing.

Posting a Review

Step 1. Users can type in as much info as they know about their tutor. Users must type in at least one of three key info, which are , Phone Number and Tutor’s Website.

A warning message will appear if users leave all info blank.

Step 2. If there are matching tutors existing in our database. The system will show something like the following figure, allowing users to decide either to post a new review or to comment the existing review.

Step 3. Users can start reviewing tutor.

After posting a review, the system will show the posting result and append previous reviews for this tutor.

Also, the listing posted on CL by this tutor will show up on the bottom.

If users click on “posted by wordpress” link, the detail about this review will show.

Browse and Search Reviews A tab at the top of the page switches the search to look for reviews. If a review has a listing associated with it, that will be displayed at the bottom of the page.

User Registration and Administration Users can create, log in, and post reviews. Currently, posts are attributed to the wordpress user, but we plan to change this. Admin user can modify user information, and reset passwords if needed. This functionality is built on existing features in Wordpress.
