Our Aims Promote and celebrate achievements of teachers and learners of SfL Enable staff who are teaching or supporting SfL to become more skilled and qualified Increase the number of staff working and specialising in SfL

Our plans for Hub of expertise – development groups One-stop centre Subsidised programmes at Levels 2,3,4 Resource bank Core Curriculum training Expenses for learners Mentoring for trainee teachers (L3-4)

Achievements Level 4: 14 Level 3 (part): 38 Core Curriculum: 264 Level 2 (all or part): 142 Awareness: 412 SpLD Cert: 3 Total: 876

Profile of participants (1) 74% Female Ages %, %, %, % FE 48%, LEA 26%, + TPs, Prisons etc 40% currently involved in SfL Support 66% worked 6-14 hrs pw 69% have worked in SfL less than 1 yr

Profile of Participants (2) Highest English Language Qualification: Level 2 54%, Level 3 15%, Level 4 17% Highest Maths Qualification: Level 2 40%, Level 3 21%, Level 4 32% 35% had degrees 43% had Teaching Certificates 4% had no teaching –related qualification
