Y’s mens International Chile Hello my friends my name is Rafael Manzo Sagre, I come from Chile, Latinoamerica. I am the District Governor of YS Men International and Valparaíso YMCA Director.

Earthquake and Tsunami in Chile 2010 As many of you know, on February 27th, 2010, my country, Chile, was severely attacked by a 8.8 scale earthquake One of the largest in our world history.

Earthquake and Tsunami in Chile 2010 The most affected places by the earthquake were the center of my country (Valparaíso- Santiago) and the south (Concepción- Dichato). After this, came a devastating tsunami, where the number of dead was 525 and 25 missing people.

Time of Fast Project So, That's why, I want to tell you about TOF project, that we did after the earthquake in the fishing town Dichato. Helping poor children who suffered the destruction of their only school in the town.

TOF Program This TOF program, funded by the YS Men International and conducted by the YMCA from Concepción, Chile managed to teach 250 children to swim at Dichato school, Today they can face the sea again without panic caused by the tsunami years ago.
