What is the true meaning of Christmas? Christmas is the story of the birth of a man…

He was promised by the mouth of all the holy prophets since the world began …

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given…And His name will be called wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:5-6) 700 years before His birth, the prophet Isaiah proclaimed,

700 years before His birth, the prophet Micah proclaimed that He would be born in Bethlehem… “But you, Bethlehem…out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.” (Micah 5:2)

Christmas is the day that God became man… “For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9)

“She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21) He had one purpose for coming to the earth… “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God…” (1 Peter 3:18)

He was born to die… “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)

He died so that we can live… “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

His Resurrection from the dead gives us hope… “and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:17)

He ascended to His throne in heaven… “God exalted Him at His right hand as [Lord] and Savior, to give repentance…and forgiveness of sins.” (Acts 5:31)

He will return to judge the living and the dead… “…God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.” (Acts 17:30-31)

Jesus is the one and only way to heaven… Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Those who repent and believe in Jesus will be saved but those who don’t will be punished… Jesus said, “Whoever believes…will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16)

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15) This Christmas receive the most fulfilling Christmas gift of your life…the gift of eternal life…The gift of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
