2007 TAFE NSW TEACHING AND LEARNING CONFERENCE What is LORN? 1.LORN is a distributed network of repositories. 2.Currently five repositories 1.AFLF Toolbox repository 2.New South Wales 3.Victoria 4.Tasmania 5.South Australia 3.These repositories are all linked to consumers ………….. teachers, trainers, lecturers, RTOs, students, industry bodies, resource developers, non- accredited training organisations, training authorities and state and national agencies ………….by a set common standards (VETADATA, AE ShareNet Licenses, IMS Packaging, OAI PMH), and has been designed to readily support the future integration of new repositories. Potential future repositories:  Queensland  Western Australia  Australian Capital Territory  Northern Territory  TVET Australia
