Work Charles Darwin was a naturalist ,he studied natural history. He worked at the HMS Beagle. Studies at the University of Cambridge gave him a great interest in natural science. He went to school for medical education, but he neglected all the information from the school and he helped to investigate marine invertebrates. He also studied transmutation.
Life Charles Darwin was married to his cousin, Emma Wedgwood. They had 8 children, but sadly his last born, Mary Eleanor Darwin, died 23 days after she was born. He had a brother named Erasmus Darwin.
Events in History While Charles Darwin was alive he developed the theory of evolution. Industrial revolution also occurred while he was alive in Europe and the United States.
