Ascension Sunday More Than an Afterthought Six Reasons Jesus’s Ascension Matters

John 13:34-35 You will experience My love as you love one another. You can know about My love from My Word, but you can also experience My love in relationship.

UNITY! 1.Be at peace with one another (Mark 9:50) 2.Don’t grumble among one another (John 6:43) 3.Be of the same mind with one another. Live in harmony with each other. (Romans 12:16, 15:5) 4.Accept one another (Romans 15:7) 5.Don’t bite, devour, and destroy one another (Galatians 5:15) 6.Let us not become conceited, provoking or envying each other (Gal 5:26)

UNITY! 7.Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:2) 8.Be kind, tender hearted to one another and forgiving each another as the Lord forgave you. OTHERS! Do not judge one another (Romans 14:13) Speak truth to one another (Ephesians 4:25) Don’t lie to one another (Colossians 3:9) Be hospitable to one another (1 Peter 4:9)

OTHERS! Encourage or comfort one another concerning the resurrection (1 Thess 4:18) Encourage and build up one another (1 Thess 5:11) Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sins deceitfulness (Hebrews 3:13)

OTHERS! When God’s children are in need, you be the one to help them out. Romans 12:13 Encourage one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24) Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2)
