Location Norway is located in Northern Europe and is part of Scandinavia. The capital city of Norway is Oslo. Oslo is south east of Norway.

Food Food Traditional Norwegian food is based on the raw materials that are available in Norway such as fish. A typical breakfast would be an open sandwich with cold slices of meat (e.g. ham, salami), cheese, cereals, fruit juices and coffee. Norwegians usually eat a simple meal at lunch time and have a warm meal at dinner time with their family such as fish, potatoes and vegetables.

Traditional Norwegian Dishes Gravlax – dry curled salmon, marinated in salt, sugar and spices. Glogg – is mulled wine but it is made with a syrupy mixture and dried almonds and raisins for taste. Kjottkaker - minced beef rolled into balls, then fried served with gravy, boiled potatoes and mushy peas.
