Changing Disability Codes The following slides will review Disability Code Entry Each Evaluation entered into Skyward has a disability code record. If the student’s disability code has changed a new Evaluation is required When a new Evaluation is entered, the system defaults the disability from the previous Evaluation record. If the disability changes for a student, such as when the child turns 9 years old, the default disability record should be deleted and the new disability code record must be added. Deleting/Adding a disability code on the new Evaluation will not change the disability code attached to the prior Evaluation record. (History is maintained).
