4 Code of references Three major ways: 1.Coded as an implication –MIS system has now serving as a platform to the effective implementation of supply chain management (Laudon and Laudon, 2005) 2.Coded as fact findings –Chow (2004) investigates the use of MIS in supply chain and identifies four critical success factors to their applications 3.Coded as a statement –Zwass (1996) defines e-commerce as “is the sharing of business information, maintaining business relationships, and conducting transactions by means of telecommunications networks, …… (it) includes the sell-buy relationships and transactions between companies, as well as the corporation process that support the commerce within individual firms”. 8 Important points Timing: –You have only 15 mins for presentation Use 1-2 mins for intro Use 1-2 mins to tell about relevant literature Use 2-3 mins to tell about model development & hypotheses Use 2 mins to reveal your findings Use 3 mins to discuss its implication Use 1-2 mins to sum up your conclusion with limitations You don’t have to use all materials in your reports thus you need to choose your choices wisely Q/A: listen and understand the Qs before answering (to p1)
