Protocol amendment As most of you already know, the change in patient entry criteria now allows patients to enter the trial 6 months (instead of 12 months) after a previous procedure if the surgeon believes the previous procedure has failed. The protocol has also been altered to clarify that mosaicplasty can be carried out on defects >4cm 2 although smaller defects (1-4cm 2 ) are more readily repairable.
