OPINION I think the current music videos have absolutely no originality and broadcasts the idea of materialism. All you see are phones, clothes from the sponsors. The dancing is too much and the dancers and artists wear next to nothing. Yes, I do believe they are giving out the wrong message. Many kids these days look up to these artists. When they see them in their videos, they aspire to be like them, dress like them, wear the same clothes and have the same electronics because they look cool.They don't care about important things like school and helping others. Many just want to shop so that they can stay relevant to the current fashion trend or latest technology craze. They must have that new pair of shoes because this artist wore it in their video and it's so cool or they must buy that phone because that artist has it and it makes them look cool.
