Skip logic Directs respondents through different paths in a survey based on their response to a given question Logic can only be applied on questions that have a single non-free text response (like multiple choice, one answer) Only move respondents forward in survey usually best to design your entire survey before you start adding skip logic 32
Piping Allows you greater control and precision over question wording by automatically including previous answer choices as part of later questions, either in the body of the question or as an answer choice To pipe a response, click the phrase under the question/answer formulation box that says “insert response from” then choose the question to pipe 33
