THE CAAP TEST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I have to take the CAAP test? All undergraduates are required to take the CAAP. Non-teaching degree students may qualify for exemptions. Consult your advisor for possible exemption. It is best to take the CAAP in the semester after you complete Composition 102 (CAAP Writing) and College Algebra MA110 (CAAP Mathematics). Students are strongly encouraged to complete all CAAP tests no later than their Junior year. How do I sign up for the CAAP test? You sign up for the CAAP test through your advisor. Normally, you will enroll in CAAP tests at the same time you enroll in your classes for the upcoming semester. In an instance where you or your advisor has questions in regard to enrolling in CAAP tests, feel free to call our office. What happens if I fail the CAAP test? Teaching degree students are required to meet the CAAP cutoff scores. Non-teaching degree students who have failed a section of the test have an option to fulfil the requirement in the math, reading, and writing labs. The lab option may require several weeks of time investment, so students are encouraged to seek these services and complete the lab option early in the semester. Click here for lab information. Click here Schedule an appointment with your advisor to register!

Create a Degree Evaluation/Audit Go to the Academic life tab. Click “Student Records” in the Student Self Service Links. Click “Degree Evaluation.” Click Submit. There is no need to change the term listed. At the bottom of screen, click “Generate New Evaluation.” Click the radial button(s) next to your degree(s). Click Generate Request. It may take a moment or two. Click the radial button next to “Detail Requirements.” Click Submit.

About degree evaluation… This includes the classes you are enrolled in for the next semester, too. For example, if it shows you have 24 hours toward your degree it does not mean that you have passed 24 hours, it means that the twelve hours you are taking this semester, and the 12 you are taking next semester count toward your degree.

About degree evaluation… The Degree Evaluation is broken up into sections much like a General Education requirement sheet. To find out what else might be needed to complete each area, you can find a PDF of the Gen Ed requirements at: bd11-c5501e pdf. bd11-c5501e pdf. A PDF of your major requirements is here: Contact your Advisor with questions.

Apply for Graduation Apply electronically Log into Buzz In account Click on Academic Life tab Click Student Records link in the Student Self Service links channel (located in the middle of the page). Choose Intent to Graduate application and follow the prompts.

Please make sure that you do not proceed with this submission until you have really read ALL of the directions. For example, if the curriculum that shows up is incomplete or entirely wrong (e.g. you are told you are pursuing a Bachelor of Science when you know you are actually pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, or your minor is not listed), STOP and contact the Degree Analysis office x5150 or via at In such cases we need to make sure we have the opportunity to correct your record right away to prevent a possible graduation
