Meet the teacher night, 2011 La clase de español (cognates) Mr. Gustavo Benedetti Spanish is a language that people use in order to communicate ideas.

Class objective: Stimulate oral communication and listening comprehension.

Goal: Helping students develop Spanish as their second language for communication purposes.

Grading: by categories Homework: 20% Class participation: 20% Communication 20 % Exam: 20 % Quiz: 20 %

TPR-S (Total Physical Response Storytelling)

A relaxed environment is conducive to second language acquisition. "I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." (Lao-Tse)

Students will learn Spanish by doing, by acting. Let’s watch a storya story

Conclusion: Spanish is a tool for communication and Spanish students should acquired it in order to communicate their ideas and needs. Mr. Benedetti
