EDITING: GREENLAND LETTERS Capitalization- 15 Apostrophe- 2 Commas-8 Periods-4 Spelling-1

LIBRARY Bring your AR contract! We are finding books that will help us get the rest of our points for the six weeks. Friday you should have half your points! Sit two to a table and sit where you will not be distracted! We are reading and not talking!

A NATURAL CONTRACT (FIRST PERIOD) Read passage as a class and answer multiple choice questions.

SYMBIOTIC WILDLIFE(REGULARS) Take a few minutes to skim through your book to take the surprise out of the text. In this book we will look at the natural world and how it is full of complex relationships among different kinds of organisms. It is informational text! The book will give us information on how different species interact in ways that benefit each other. For example, a crocodile may open its jaw wide for a good teeth cleaning, courtesy of the small Egyptian plover bird. Many symbiotic relationships are discussed, from remora fish hitching rides on sharks to honeybees pollinating flowers.

PRIOR KNOWLEDGE TABLE(REGULARS) Read the Statement of Evidence and check the box labeled agree or disagree. Next you need to explain how you know in a few words in the column labeled “How I Know” Now we will read the book as a class.
