The Alliance ABOUT THE ALLIANCE: The Wind Alliance develops infrastructure, technology and workforce through pre-competitive collaboration between industry, academia and government within the United States. The Wind Alliance is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by John D. White, Managing Director. OUR PURPOSE: – Actively identify barriers in the industry – Connect complementary members to execute solutions through pre-competitive collaborative projects – Identify and channel funding for projects – Coordinate and administer projects, as needed We are helping the Wind Industry meet the goals of 2030, and helping to make the Industry cost-competitive with other forms of energy.

The Alliance The Wind Alliance’s board is chaired by Dick Williams (Shell Wind), and co-chaired by Mark Ellison (Vice Chancellor for Economic Development, Texas A&M University System).
