New York State GIS Association Regional Update February 2009  Annual NYS GIS Conference Collaborating and partnering with SUNY ESF to plan and improve conference Will be involved with a variety of items including agenda development, speaker solicitation and outreach via NYSGISA regional chapters This year the conference will be held October 25 th – 27 th in Lake Placid Recent Activity

New York State GIS Association Regional Update February 2009  NYSGISA Membership Fee Establishing an annual membership fee of $10 (Professional) and $5 (Students) Dues and money collected will be targeted for education and outreach of geospatial technologies within NYS This will be activated on website in the coming weeks.
