Testing PowerPoint Embedding in Wordpress For the purposes of use in Web Media Assignment
The Plan… I am going to create a simple basic PowerPoint Presentation, and within it, try out a few different things that I can foresee me using in my upcoming assignment, including a voiceover and timed transitions. Some slides will have vocal element, some will not. If the slide moves on before you are ready, I apologise, that’s the timed transition part of it all. You can however skip ahead if you want to. Therefore, if you are watching this, I would guess, that things have worked according to plan and I hope you enjoy it.
Test One This slide contains an animated GIF image – in other words, the image should change. Yes, the image doesn’t look the best, but it’s a low quality gif, so that’s ok.
Test Two Embedding a YouTube Video This one is “Simon’s Cat in ‘Cat- man-do’” One of my absolute favourites. I probably won’t do this in my assignment though. You should be able to find it at w0ffwDYo00Q w0ffwDYo00Q
Test Three Animation with a single element within a slide. Yes, that is me in the photo.
Test Four Animation with multiple elements. Created within the slide and using PowerPoint Animation effects. We should see a smile come in from the left, get hit by lightning, get sad and shed a tear then bounce away to the lower right. It should all happen automatically.
Conclusion If this uploads and works, I should be able to embed this into my Study By Night blog, which can be found at Fingers crossed.
