Purpose of Project Students used a document camera to create and present a weather forecast during the morning announcements at Walker Mill Middle School. The document camera enabled them to show weather patters that influenced local weather in Capitol Heights, MD. The document camera had to be connected to five other pieces of equipment to allow it to be seen throughout the school.

Reflection The students were very interested in using new technology. They operated the document camera without any problems and made useful suggestions for its future use in the media center and during the morning broadcast. Challenges included connecting the many parts of the school-wide TV to the document camera and make them work without glitches.
