Permanent Methods Tubal Ligation (99.5) (Surgically cut the fallopian tubes to prevent sperm reaching the egg. Vasectomy (99.85 – 99.9) (Surgically cutting the vas deferens to eliminate sperm from leaving the male reproductive system.) Hysterectomy (100) (Removal of the uterus)
